NAPW South Atlanta Local Chapter Welcomed a Diverse Group of Accomplished Women at Their 2012 Kick-off Meeting

The NAPW South Atlanta Chapter held their 2012 kick-off networking meeting at Monarch Tower in Buckhead on Friday, January 20th, 2012. Nancy Delgadillo, President of the NAPWs South Atlanta Chapter hosted the meeting by welcoming everyone with lunch, compliments of the NAPW, briefly speaking about the North and South Atlanta chapters collaborating as a team, and discussed the plan for 2012.
Over thirty chapter members and guests were in attendance including women in various leadership positions and professions ranging from healthcare to hospitality to communications. Many of the attendees were proud entrepreneurs and/or professionals and executives at large companies such as UPS, The Coca Cola Company, Turner Broadcasting, just to name a few.
We are excited to have an exceptionally diverse group of women, said Nancy, allowing for networking opportunities outside of our industries to build new relationships, share ideas and connections with other successful women across Atlanta, and most of all to empower each other.

The NAPW South Atlanta Chapter meets on a monthly basis, as well as quarterly in conjunction with the North Atlanta Chapter. The group has created Twitter, Facebook and Blog pages in an effort to increase communication and the sharing of knowledge and ideas to propel each other to become remarkable businesswomen and leaders in all areas of their lives.
New chapter members in attendance were:
Dr. Jamila G. Williams B.S., M.A., Ed.D., Travel Professional and Owner at JGS Travel who happened to be visiting from Phoenix, AZ. Dr. Williams was hosting a Financial Empowerment Workshop with guests who became interested in joining the NAPW following the meeting; Elise Marinos, Owner of Drab to Fab Organizing had everyone in the room excited about becoming organized and was so kind as to bring complementary discount vouchers; Ms. Cassandra R. Johnson M.B.A., CPC, ELI-MP, Co-Founder/CEO, Speaker, Author, Coach, Consultant at Destined to be Great, also joined the group the night prior at the North Atlanta Chapter meeting; Mrs. Julianna Madsen, President at Total Care Billing Solutions, LLC; Yvette Muhammad, B.S., Wellness Coach, Conscientious Counsel; Amy Carri, Talent Acquisition Supervisor at UPS; and Ms. Rosemary Jean-Louis, Web Content Editor/Curator at Georgia Public Broadcasting.
The South Atlanta Chapter will host its next meeting on Thursday, February, 23rd. Meetings will be posted on the chapter page of the NAPW site for future reference.
